Fmoc-L-proline is an amino acid derivative, it can be prepared by one-step reaction of L-proline with 9-fluorenyl methyl chloroformate or 9-fluorenylmethyl-n-succinimidyl carbonate. It has been reported in the literature to be useful in the preparation of a novel antidepressant drug candidate Rapastinel(GLYX-13).
